In the year 2004 this website made Devil Doll history! I organised a mailing action in order to persuade Mr.Doctor to give permission to release more Devil Doll. The action was a great success in terms of participation. More than a thousand letters were sent in by fans, either the standard or a customized letter was sent. These letters and a foreward written by W.Timmer resulted in a book that was sent to Mr.Doctor personally, titled: "A Thousand Letters to Mr.Doctor". The book contains 1266 pages and has a leather cover. It was printed professionally and was financed by Hurdy Gurdy and The Devil Doll Fan Club. Almost a year after the book was sent, Mr.Doctor responded. He sent W.Timmer a personal gift. A handmade Sacrilegium box. A scenography style card handsigned by Mr.Doctor with the message 'Astonished' was also added. To see the gift, please click the second link.
